SB 576 – Current law requires that public and nonpublic high schools report certain information about students age sixteen and older who drop out of school to the state literacy hotline. This act requires that records and reports based upon the school reports be made available by free electronic record on the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's website on the first business day of each month. Identifying information of individual students must be excluded. This act is identical to a provision contained in HCS#2/SS/SB 291 (2009) and is identical to HB 833 (2009). MICHAEL RUFF
