SB 247 - This act allows counties of the first classification to adopt, by order or ordinance, regulations to control the minimum standards of occupancy for residential units rented or leased and also to develop a program for licensing and inspecting the units. The county may recover the costs to administer the program through establishing reasonable fees. This act is similar to a provision of HCS/SB 386 (2009) and HB 378 (2009). SUSAN HENDERSON MOORE
