SB 873 – Currently, the governing boards of the University of Missouri, Missouri State University, and Truman State University possess nonvoting student members. This act removes the nonvoting student members and replaces them with voting members beginning with the next appointment to the board of curators by the Governor. Such voting student members shall be able to vote on all matters before the board. This act is similar to HB 613 (2007), SB 106 (2007), SB 673 (2006). MICHAEL RUFF
