SB 851 - Currently, a person who has a been convicted of a dangerous felony or an equivalent crime in another state or who has been confined for such a crime during the preceding five-year period is prohibited from possessing a concealable firearm. Violation of this section is a Class C felony. Under this act, a person convicted of such a felony shall be prohibited from possessing a concealable firearm regardless of when the person was confined. SUSAN HENDERSON MOORE
