SB 1206 - Currently, any public meeting of a public governmental body requires 24 hours of notice. This act requires local governments, such as counties, cities, towns and villages, to post notice of public meetings 72 hours prior to the meeting, except in emergency situations. All meetings of such local governments must contain a public comment period. JIM ERTLE
