HCS/HB 174 - This act requires that the license of a real estate broker or salesperson shall be revoked or, in the case of an applicant, shall not be issued, if such person is found guilty of certain felonies. The license revocation or denial may be appealed to the administrative hearing commission. A definition of "exclusive brokerage agreement" is created to authorize a real estate broker to act as the exclusive limited agent on behalf of their client provided that the parties have entered into a written agency agreement. The act specifies certain services which must be provided by a broker who has entered into an exclusive brokerage agreement.JIM ERTLE
