HB 1353 - This act gives any person involved in a fatal accident the right to a copy of the coroner's report upon request. Under current law, such a report is available only by subpoena. "Person involved in the accident" includes property owners and insurance companies, and spouses or relatives within the second degree of consanguinity of a person involved in the accident. A subpoena is required for any other person to obtain such a report.
