HB 1284 (Truly Agreed) Fees for ambulance district board members

HB 1284 - This act will allow each member of an ambulance district board to receive an attendance fee not to exceed one hundred dollars for attending each regular or special board meeting.

The chairman of the board may receive an additional fee of fifty dollars for attending each regular or special board meeting with a limit of two meetings in any month.

The secretary and treasurer of the board, if members of the board, may each receive additional compensation provided that such compensation shall not exceed one thousand dollars per year.

Limits are set on the number of attendance fees a board member may receive in a month.

All attendance fees and compensation must be authorized by the board and can be paid only to those board members elected after August 28, 2000.
