Current Bill Summary

SJR 37 - This constitutional amendment, if adopted by voters, would suspend refunds under Missouri's tax limitation measure ("The Hancock Amendment") for five years. The refunds, if any, would be transferred to the Department of Transportation to be used only for interstate highways or projects originally included in the 1992 fifteen year plan. The Department cannot budget expected revenues until they are actually received.
