SB 825 - This act contains several provisions regarding student and faculty representatives to governing boards of certain state colleges and universities.

For the University of Missouri, the bill provides that the faculty representative may attend all meetings, including closed meetings, while the student representative may be excluded from closed meetings upon a unanimous vote of the other members.

For state colleges and universities under Chapter 174, RSMo, Truman State and Lincoln University, confidentiality will apply to all governing board members and representatives, who may recuse themselves from any proceeding.

For Truman State and Lincoln University, the act provides that the student representative may attend all meetings, including closed meetings.

For Lincoln University, the act provides that the student representative shall receive reimbursement for expenses in the same manner provided for the Curators, and the act specifies that the student representative may make alternative arrangements for payment of fees with the university.
