HCS/SB 753 - This act permits Kansas City to enact ordinances against illegal and unauthorized dumping and littering, and to punish violations by a fine of up to $1,000 or imprisonment up to 12 months, or both. (Similar to HCS/SB 894)

Section 82.1050 will require that any landlord who leases real property in Kansas City to submit a registration form to the city governing body. Content requirements of the form are specified.

The city must compile the information from the forms to ensure greater efficiency in compliance with and enforcement of public safety and code requirements.

The report shall be given to the Governor, Speaker of the House and President Pro Tem of the Senate before July 1, 2002, and every July first thereafter until July 1, 2006, when this provision shall expire.
