SCS/SB 1066 - The act permits each state college, university and community college to establish a local telecommunity center. These centers would allow community residents to learn to use current technology, equipment and software, and would provide staffing and technical assistance. Such centers would use the institution's existing resources.
Each institution is also directed to establish a policy to
ensure that students of the institution are afforded necessary
access to all available information technology resources.
