Current Bill Summary

SB 1062 - The act clarifies that, for the purposes of determining Social Security disability payments only, a Public School Retirement System (PSRS) or Non-Teachers Retirement System (NTRS) employee who is retired on disability and who is less than 60 years of age, but who is at least 55 years of age and has at least 25 years of service shall be considered to be receiving a normal retirement allowance.
