Current Bill Summary

SB 1026 This act provides that one-half of all revenues from the three-cent state sales tax received from taxation of motor vehicles shall be transferred to the State Road Fund and used for the purposes established in Article IV, section 30(b) of the Missouri Constitution and the remaining one-half of such revenues shall be transferred to the General Revenue Fund. All revenues from the one-cent sales tax for schools, known as "Proposition C", received from taxation of motor vehicles shall be transferred to the School District Trust Fund and distributed to schools on a per-pupil basis.
