Current Bill Summary

SB 764 - This act eliminates the classification and population requirements of Section 473.767 of the probate code. Current law mandates that a former public administrator deliver the administration of estates to the successor public administrator in first classification charter counties, first classification non-charter counties containing part of a city of over 350,000 population, and second classification counties with over 57,000 population and containing part of a city of over 350,000 population. This act makes the provision applicable statewide.
