DESCRIPTION

This proposal eliminates the classification and population requirements of Section 473.767 of the probate code. Current law mandates that a former public administrator deliver the administration of estates to the successor public administrator in first class charter counties, first class non- charter counties containing part of a city with a population over 350,000, and second class counties with over 57,000 population and containing part of a city with a population over 350,000. This act makes the provision applicable statewide.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
