Current Bill Summary

SB 732 - Under current law, a person who has been convicted, plead guilty to, or entered a plea of nolo contendere to a felony or misdemeanor shall not be eligible for a concealed carry permit or a lifetime or extended concealed carry permit. This act provides that only a person convicted of a felony or misdemeanor shall not be eligible for a concealed carry permit or a lifetime or extended concealed carry permit.

This provision is identical to HB 1833 (2022).
