SB 495 - This act requires that the statewide automated crime victim notification system be used to notify a crime victim of an offender?s release. If the system cannot be used though, written notification by mail to the most current address will be sufficient. This act is similar to certain provisions of CCS/SS/SCS/HCS/HB 353 (2005).
