SCS/SB 517 - This act provides that no health care provider or hospital or facility shall be required to honor a health care decision made by an attorney in fact or surrogate if that decision is contrary to the provider's religious beliefs or the hospital's or facility's institutional religious-based policy. The provider or hospital or facility shall not impede the transfer of the patient to another provider or facility. ADRIANE CROUSE
