SB 142 - This act exempts contractors from paying sales taxes on materials used in Department of Transportation projects. This act does not go into effect until July 1, 2006. This act is similar to SB 731 (2004), SB 501 (2003) and to a provision contained in CCS/SS/SCS/HB 327 (2003). STEPHEN WITTE
