Senator Parson Named Legislator of the Year by MO Federation of Pachyderms at the Annual Lincoln Days Event

JEFFERSON CITY — Sen. Mike Parson, R-Bolivar, was recently recognized as the Legislator of the Year in the Missouri Senate at the annual Reagan Lincoln Days event held in Kansas City this weekend.

 “I am truly honored and humbled to be recognized with such an outstanding award,” said Sen. Parson. “Being an effective legislator is not an easy task, and I would like to thank my colleagues and staff for their hard work and support throughout the year.” 

Senator Parson was a leader on last year’s efforts in passing Right to Farm, and other legislation signed by the governor dealing with agriculture, sales and use taxes, state bonding projects, and the Missouri Works Training Programs.
