Sen. Eric Schmitt Issues Statement on
Passing of Auditor Tom Schweich

JEFFERSON CITY—Senator Eric Schmitt, R-Glendale, issued the following statement today in regards to the recent news of Auditor Tom Schweich’s passing:

“I’m deeply saddened by the tragic news of the passing of our State Auditor, Tom Schweich. Tom was a great public servant not only to our state, but to our country as a whole.

My wife, Jaime, and I join our prayers with all Missourians in remembering Tom’s service to our state, and for his family during this difficult time.”
