The legislation would modify provisions of law relating to the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Program and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. He also talks about House Bill 42, which would modify provisions relating to elementary and secondary education. This has been sent to the governor. Senator Emery also discusses potential vetoes to the Fiscal Year 2016 Missouri operating budget, which lawmakers could take up very soon, and Senate Bill 127. This legislation would bar employers from requiring employees to engage in or cease engaging in certain labor practices, and could be debated yet this session. (4:29) |
