Business Summit to Be Held in Lebanon March 22

JEFFERSON CITY — Missouri State Sen. Mike Parson, R-Bolivar, along with State Rep. Diane Franklin, R-Camdenton, and Sandy Crawford, R-Buffalo, and in conjunction with the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce, is pleased to announce Business Summit 2013 at the Kenneth E. Cowan Civic Center in Lebanon, Missouri.  The event will be held Friday, March 22, 2013 and is free and open to the public.  Registration begins at 8:00 am and the final program is scheduled to end at 1:00 p.m.

Topics to be covered include business development, exports, and job creation.  Speakers will be on hand from the Missouri Division of Tourism, Missouri Department of Economic Development, Missouri Small Business Development and Technology Center as well as the Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce.

“Whether you own a business, work for a business, want to start a business, or want to grow your business, this will be a great event to pick up some new ideas, network with state and area business leaders, and meet with those who represent you in Jefferson City,” said Sen. Parson.

With the Legislature on spring break in the coming week, Sen. Parson wanted to host a business related event in the district as a way of keeping people connected to their voice in the State Capitol.  The addition of Laclede County into the new 28th Senatorial District provides an opportunity for citizens to become more acquainted with Sen. Parson.

The event is open to the public at no charge. Guests are encouraged to send an R.S.V.P., as lunch will be provided to attendees.  You can reserve your spot at this exciting event by either calling the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce (417-588-3256) or contacting them by email at chamber@lebanonmissouri.com.
