Sen. Libla serves as the vice chairman of the Senate Agriculture, Food Production and Outdoor Resources Committee. During the Jan. 23, 2013, committee hearing, members considered Senate Bill 16, legislation that would exempt farm work performed by children under 16 under certain child labor requirements.
