JEFFERSON CITY—Senator Ryan Silvey, R-Kansas City, today issued the following statement in regards to the recent news regarding Auditor Tom Schweich:

“I am deeply saddened by the tragic passing of Auditor Tom Schweich and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Tom was an honorable public servant who brought innovation and professionalism to his job as Auditor.  This day, all Missourians have suffered a loss.”
