Officials from the Office of Administration (COA) - Division of Budget and Planning (BAP) assume the proposed legislation should not result in additional cost or savings to the BAP.



Officials from the COA - Division of Information Services and Office of State Treasurer assume the proposed legislation will not fiscally impact their organization.



Officials from the Department of Health and Senior Services (DOH) stated this legislation would not be expected to significantly impact the operations of the DOH. If the proposal were to substantially impact the DOH programs, then the DOH would request funding through the legislative process.

FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business



No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.



DESCRIPTION



This act expands the purpose of the Department of Health and Senior Services Document Services Fund. Currently, Section 192.323, RSMo, specifies that the fund only be used for goods and services related to document services. This act broadens the purpose of the fund to include personnel costs and costs related to the collection of data along with its current purposes.

This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
