ASSUMPTION



Officials of the Office of Prosecution Services assumes there would be additional cost from additional duties. Costs on a statewide basis would be minimal and would be expected to be less than $100,000 annually.



Officials of the Department of Health and Senior Services stated that they do not anticipate that this legislation would affect the department in any substantial manner. Officials assume no fiscal impact to their department.



Officials of the Department of Natural Resources assumes no fiscal impact.

FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business



No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.



DESCRIPTION



This act allows County Prosecutors with jurisdiction to prosecute nuisance cases along with the Department of Health and Senior Services (under Section 191.683, RSMo).



This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
