FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business
Small businesses could be impacted due to costs incurred in gathering records required for subpoenas.
DESCRIPTION
This proposed legislation authorizes the President of the Board of Pharmacy to issue subpoenas duces tecum and require production of documents and records. The board may enforce its subpoenas in the Circuit Court of Cole County, the county of the investigation, hearing or proceeding, or any county where the record may be found. Failure of a licensee to comply with a validly enforced subpoena duces tecum shall be grounds for disciplinary action.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
