FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business
No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.
DESCRIPTION
This act allows a business owner with property located in a drainage district to appoint an individual to represent the business in matters involving the district, including voting and serving on the board of supervisors for the district. The act also allows the secretary and treasurer of any district board to reside in an adjoining county.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
