FISCAL ANALYSIS

ASSUMPTION

Officials from the Department of Revenue (DOR), Division of Motor Vehicle and Drivers Licensing assume based on information received from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy, there are approximately 6,000 members (this includes alumni) in the state of Missouri. It is assumed that 5% of this membership will apply for this new plate type.

The number of anticipated applications is minimal. Therefore, the provisions of this proposal can be implemented with existing resources.

Due to the projected minimal number of applications for St. Louis Pharmacy license plates, there will be no measurable revenue increase to the Highway Fund, Cities and County Aid Road Trust Fund (CART).

Officials from the Department of Highway and Transportation were not able to provide an estimate for this proposal. Therefore they must rely upon the DOR's response.
