Officials from Missouri Southern State College estimate the cost of the name change at less than $20,000, which would be absorbed with existing resources. Further, Missouri Southern State College officials stated that ongoing costs directly related to this proposal were expected to be nominal.
Oversight assumes the direct cost of this proposal would be nominal and could be absorbed from existing resources. If additional or unexpected costs are incurred they could be addressed through the normal budget process.
