ASSUMPTION
Officials from the Office of the Governor, Office of Administration - Design and Construction, and City of Kansas City assume the proposed legislation will have no direct cost to their organizations.
Officials from the Office of Attorney General (AGO) assume their agency can absorb the costs associated with the proposed legislation.
Officials from the Department of Mental Health (DMH) stated that when construction of the new rehabilitation center is complete, the DMH will abandon the described facility which will become excess to its needs. Proceeds from the sale of this property will be returned to general revenue; therefore, the DMH does not anticipate any fiscal impact.
Officials from the Office of Administration - Budget and Planning (OA-BAP) did not respond to our request for a statement of fiscal impact.
Oversight notes that consideration for the conveyance of property to Children's Mercy Hospital is $1. This consideration is considered immaterial and is not reflected in the fiscal note.

DESCRIPTION
This act authorizes the conveyance of certain state property to the Children's Mercy Hospital.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
