Current law requires the county commission to divide a nursing home district into six election districts and subsequently elect one director from each district who will serve as one of the directors for the nursing home district. This act requires six directors be elected district-wide from the nursing home district.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
