FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business
No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.
DESCRIPTION
The proposed legislation provides that the governor shall, within thirty days after an appointive officer's term expires or the officer resigns, appoint a successor. When the governor is re-elected for a second term, the governor shall submit to the senate for advice and consent, the appointments of all appointive officers whose offices are full-time salaried positions.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
