No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.



DESCRIPTION



This proposal would have the General Assembly consent on behalf of Missouri to recovery of costs and attorney fees of Missouri Outside Counsel contained in the Model State Fee Payment Agreement of the Master Settlement Agreement and would specify that Outside Counsel and subcontracting counsel would receive no state funds if costs and fees would be paid under terms of the Master Settlement Agreement.



This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space. This proposal would not affect Total State Revenue.
