ASSUMPTION
Officials from the Department of Revenue assume:
The Safari Club International has approximately 800 members in Missouri. If it is assumed that 5% of those are members will apply for this speciality plate it would only be 40 applications. This would have a minimal impact on the Department of Revenue and could be implemented with existing resources.
The revenue generated from the additional $15 fee would also have minimal impact based on the number of applications anticipated. If the number of applications increased, revenue would be affected accordingly.
Officials from the Department of Transportation concur with the Department of Revenue response.
