FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business



No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.





DESCRIPTION



This proposal creates double damages liability for knowingly damaging or destroying crops. In awarding damaging, courts will consider both the market value of the crop and the actual

damages involving production, research, testing replacement and crop development costs.



This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
