FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business



Small businesses (television stations) would expect to be fiscally impacted to the extent that they would incur additional expenses to comply with the requirements of this proposal.





DESCRIPTION



This proposal would require all Missouri television stations to begin providing all local news, weather and sports programming with real-time captioning, starting on July 1, 2002.



This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
