FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business
This proposal would not be expected to result in a significant fiscal impact to small businesses.
DESCRIPTION
This proposal would allow the Director of the Department of Insurance to approve a merger between mutual insurance companies if the Director is satisfied that the proposed merger was properly approved pursuant to the articles and bylaws of the companies.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
