FISCAL ANALYSIS

ASSUMPTION

Officials from the Department of Transportation assume no impact to their agency from this proposal.

Officials from the Department of Revenue assume in order to accommodate the placement of the "J88" code on the drivers license, the Driver and Vehicle Services Bureau will require $13,750 (110 programming hours at $125 contract hourly programming rate) for modifications to the purchased drivers license system. The Bureau also assumes they will incur State Data Center costs of $2000 during fiscal year 2002 as a result of modifications necessary in order to store the new data.
