FISCAL ANALYSIS

ASSUMPTION

Officials from the Office of State Courts Administrator stated the proposed legislation would have no fiscal impact on the Courts.

Officials from the Department of Social Services stated the DOS currently has a subsidized guardianship program for children who have been in their custody with a population of qualified relatives. This population of children would be transitioning from foster care to legal guardianship. Therefore, the proposed legislation would have a $0 impact on the DOS.
