DESCRIPTION
This act includes persons involved with physician health programs in the list of those who are not liable for civil damages for reporting information to the State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts.
Currently, Section 334.128, RSMo, lists all persons who will not be civilly liable for reporting information to the Board during the course of an investigation. New language adds impaired physician health programs and individuals involved with those programs to the list. No cause of action may be brought against them as a result of their conduct under this section.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
This proposal would not affect Total State Revenues.
