Officials from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) assume the proposal would result in no fiscal impact to DESE or local public school districts because the formula is fully funded.

FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business



No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.



DESCRIPTION



This proposal would require that the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education fully fund all categorical add-ons in the school foundation formula before funding entitlements using a proration factor of more than one.



This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space. The proposal would not affect Total State Revenue.
