ASSUMPTION
Officials from the Department of Revenue (DOR) assume they will require modifications to the drivers license system. These modifications must be made by the DOR contractor at an estimated cost of $43,750 for 350 hours of programming at $125 per hour.

No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.
DESCRIPTION
This proposal would exempt a person with religious beliefs prohibiting their use of a Social Security number for identification from being required to provide a Social Security number to obtain a driver's license.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
