ASSUMPTION
Officials from the Department of Revenue (DOR stated there were only a small number of personalized retired military plates issued. Based on the current issue of plates DOR estimates this proposal would have minimal fiscal impact and minimal revenue loss.
Officials from the Department of Public Safety - Veteran's Commission, in response to a previous version of this proposal, stated the proposal would have no impact on that agency.

FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business
No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.
DESCRIPTION
This proposal exempts retired members of the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, or Coast Guard from paying the personalized license plate fee when purchasing "Retired Military" license plates.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
