No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.



DESCRIPTION



Currently, Associate Circuit Judges may hear civil cases where the dollar amount in issue is less than $25,000. The proposed legislation increases that amount to $50,000.



This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
