ASSUMPTION



Officials from the Department of Economic Development - Public Service Commission (PSC), Department of Economic Development - Office of Public Counsel (OPC), Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Office of Administration - Division of Design and Construction (D&C) and the Office of Administration - Division of Facilities Management (DFM) assume the proposed legislation would have no fiscal impact on their agencies.



Officials from the City of St. Louis, City of Kansas City, City Utilities of Springfield and Columbia Water and Light did not respond to our fiscal impact request.

DESCRIPTION



This act allows a municipality to use condemnation in order to construct or acquire natural gas service.



This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program, and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
