ASSUMPTION



Officials of the Office of Administration - Division of Forms Management, the Department of Higher Education, the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, the Department of Transportation, the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, the Department of Conservation, Central Missouri State University, Harris-Stowe State College, Missouri Western State College, Truman State University, and the University of Missouri indicated that they would not need additional resources to carry out their duties under terms of this proposal. (There could be costs for altering or reprinting forms.)



Oversight assumes, for purposes of this fiscal note, that affected political subdivisions would not need additional resources to carry out duties under terms of the proposal.

FISCAL IMPACT - Small Business



No direct fiscal impact to small businesses would be expected as a result of this proposal.



DESCRIPTION



This proposal would require that grants or scholarships provided under authority of any state agency, public college or university, or political subdivision of Missouri contain a statement acknowledging that the grant or scholarship is funded by the taxpayers of Missouri.



This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space. This proposal would not affect Total State Revenue.
