Officials of the Secretary of State assumes this proposal clarifies the definition of "financial contribution" to bond elections by interested parties and assumes no fiscal impact.

DESCRIPTION
This act clarifies restrictions on financial contributions to bond elections by potentially interested parties such as law or investment firms, by defining "financial contribution" to include cash or campaign literature expressly advocating passage of the bond election.
